Model CS Fusible Link
 The Model CS Fusible Link was specifically
designed for hanging point of purchase advertising in retail stores.
The Model CS Fusible Link is made up of two components the bracket
and the hanger. Both components are bonded together with a temperature
sensitive alloy. This alloy, during a fire situation will melt allowing
the hanger to fall to the ground.
Sounds simple, but the main objective
is to remove the hanging point of purchase advertisements from the
path of the water emitted from the fire protection sprinkler head
or sprinkler heads. The liquefication of the alloy occurs at a temperature
lower than that of the fire protection sprinkler heads. Conventional
sign supports don’t provide automatic separation of a sign from its support during a fire situation. In an emergency situation, the less obstacles the better.
